In 1899, Knut Hamsun’s visit down to Caucasus passed without printed media accompanying him. The famous writer never presented himself. His travel holds the key to many secrets and mysteries. It is his spiritual return to his roots, to Northern Norway – back to his childhood. The film is based upon Knut Hamsun’s novels In wonderland and On Overgrown Paths.
